“Ajudar”. Quan sentiu aquesta paraula, quin significat té per a vosaltres? Què és per tots nosaltres ajudar? Què comporta? Estem disposats a oferir la nostra ajuda de manera altruista? a fer sense esperar res a canvi?
Nosaltres a casa, de vegades, mentre sopem fem un exercici de conversa en el que ens preguntem com ha anat avui el dia, i a qui hem ajudat avui, i qui ens ha ajudat avui.
Aquest exercici crec que és molt beneficiós a la llarga, ja que fa que cada un de nosaltres hagi d’esforçar-se en pensar si hem ajudat i si ens han ajudat. Us sorprendrà tot el que pot sortir i tot el que no heu pensat fins llavors. El vostre agraïment creixerà i us adonareu que teniu molta gent amb qui comptar al vostre voltant, i a qui no li heu agraït mai que hi sigui, perquè no us heu adonat del que fa.
Ajudar als altres de manera altruista fa que millori la confiança que tenim en nosaltres mateixos, que ens sentim optimistes i que el nostre ànim sigui més alegre, ja que sentim que fem accions per millorar la societat.
Fisiològicament i física el nostre cos s’oblida dels nostres problemes i se centra en allò que volem fer o que volem millorar, i som més feliços i, a més, a la vegada la nostra autoestima millora, ja que veu com a fet molt positiu que vulguem ajudar als altres, i per tant ens sentim millor en el nostre rol social.
Per tant, el fet d’ajudar sense esperar res, ja per si sol ens reporta un munt de beneficis, com podeu veure. Ara sols ens queda que ens n’adonem, que en siguem conscients i que ens hi posem, oi?
De moment us deixo aquest “PerPensar” per anar parlant amb els vostres fills i filles de com ens pot fer sentir bé ajudar a qui té problemes o dificultats, i deixar de pensar en el que ens passa a nosaltres. De vegades, quan veiem el que passa a altres, ens adonem que no calia pas preocupar-nos per aquella rucada que tant ens amoïna.
Parleu amb ells sobre què podem fer per ser altruistes, comenceu per petites accions i expliqueu-vos què en sentiu. Potser podeu començar amb la conversa del sopar i adonar-vos que, ja sols dins de l’àmbit familiar, si tots no ajudessin als altres no rutllaria res!
