Però uns anys més tard, t’adones que allò no és bo i tornem cap a l’altre extrem! Sempre anem d’extrem a extrem.
Sembla que el mateix ens passa quan pensem en els recursos dels que gaudim. Fins fa poc no ens havíem parat a pensar que no són il·limitats, o no s’havia treballat aquesta consciència i molts hem adquirit hàbits una mica “negatius”, com deixar l’aigua corrent mentre ens dutxem perquè així estem més calents, no reciclar amb l’excusa que paguem molts impostos i que reciclarem quan els rebaixin, llençar l’aigua freda que surt mentre esperem que surti la calenta per dutxar-nos… I així un munt de comportaments que van en lla direcció contrària a la que sembla que estem anant ara. Ara ens adonem que l’aigua que surt de l’aixeta no es fabrica a l’aixeta per art de màgia i no l’hem de malbaratar. El llum, el paper, el menjar, l’energia per estar calents o freds… tot el que tenim té un cost, tant econòmic com pel nostre planeta, i hem de ser conscients de la sort que tenim de poder gaudir-ne.
Seria bo ensenyar als nostres fills a ser conscients de tot el els envolta i de com ho necessitem i el cost pel planeta de totes aquestes comoditats. Cal que aprenguem i ensenyem que no cal tenir la casa a 30 graus a l’hivern per poder anar vestits com a l’agost i que no cal tenir-la a 20 graus a l’estiu. Que de vegades n’hi ha prou d’abaixar les persianes quan apreta el sol o pujar-les per escalfar la casa quan fa fresca. Que no passa res per dormir destapats a l’estiu o per posar-se un jersei a l’hivern.
El cost d’aquests comportaments i actituds és preocupant i és cosa de tots pensar en el mal que li estem fent al planeta, ja que encara que potser nosaltres ja no ho veurem, si que ho veuran els nostres fills o els nostres néts o besnéts. I no diu massa a favor nostre no preocupar-nos del que no “veurem”, i no ensenya res bo als nostres fills, aquesta actitud.
