Em preocupa molt i hi penso sovint amb tot el tema del , com a mare, i també com a professional de l’educació: em fa por no saber-ho veure a temps o detectar-ho per poder ajudar a les persones implicades.
El bullying és un problema molt seriós que afecta a molts nens i adolescents arreu del món. Sovint, les persones aprofitem les diferències dels altres per atacar-los o excloure’ls, generant un impacte negatiu en la seva salut emocional i benestar general.
El bullying es basa en la intolerància i la manca de comprensió cap a les diferències individuals. És important que els nens i els adults entenguin que tots som únics i tenim qualitats i característiques que ens fan especials. Celebrar les diferències és essencial per crear una cultura d’acceptació i respecte.
Com a docent, intento treballar aquests aspectes des de l’educació emocional amb el meus alumnes i com a mare, amb el diàleg amb la meva filla.
Per prevenir el bullying, cal fomentar una cultura d’inclusió a les escoles, les famílies i la comunitat en general.
Cal treballar l’empatia, és important ensenyar als nens a posar-se en el lloc de l’altre i a comprendre les seves experiències. Fomentar l’empatia ajuda a desenvolupar una actitud més compassiva i a evitar el judici basat en les diferències.
Promoure el respecte mutu, és fonamental ensenyar als nens i als joves el valor del respecte i la importància de tractar a tothom amb amabilitat i consideració, independentment de les seves diferències.
Fomentar la comunicació oberta, crear un espai segur i acollidor en què els nens puguin expressar els seus sentiments i inquietuds és essencial. És important que els nens sentin que tenen una veu i que poden comunicar-se de manera efectiva amb adults de confiança i que els protegirem i no seran penalitzats per explicar el que els passa o el que han vist.
Promoure l’educació sobre la diversitat, introduir temes sobre la diversitat, la inclusió i el respecte a través de l’educació és clau per a canviar les actituds i les percepcions negatives. Aprendre sobre altres cultures, religions i estils de vida pot ajudar a desenvolupar un sentit de curiositat, d’acceptació i de tolerància.
Actuar de manera responsable, és responsabilitat de tots prevenir el bullying i intervenir quan succeeix. Encoratjar els nens a informar de situacions de bullying i donar suport a les víctimes és fonamental per crear un entorn segur i saludable per a tots.
Utilitzem el “PerPensar” d’avui per obrir aquest tema amb els nostres fills o els nostres alumnes i per crear un diàleg, per obrir una porta a acompanyar-los i ajudar-los, i per donar-los la mà en un camí que pot ser molt tortuós tant per a ells com per a qui els estima.
