Vaig créixer pensant que era una nul·litat en l’assignatura de plàstica. Els meus dibuixos no eren una còpia perfecta del model que em demanaven i la combinació de colors no ha estat mai el meu fort. No sabia dibuixar i he de confessar que de vegades el meu pare em feia els dibuixos. Encara tinc malsons pensant en dibuixar un “óvalo” i un “ovoide”. L’ensenyament que vaig rebre no estava orientat a fomentar la creativitat.
Amb els anys fins i tot he tingut un blog d’scrapbooking i he donat cursos d’aquesta manualitat. Eren certes les creences que vaig adquirir de petita, doncs?
Ser creatiu és bo, ens permet cercar solucions a problemes de forma diferent a com s’ha fet fins ara. La creativitat no és sols un aspecte lligat a la música, a la dansa, a l’art, sinó que podem ser creatius en tot el que fem. Però per aconseguir-ho no ens han de tallar les ales.
Els omplim dia rere dia, sense adonar-nos-en, de creences limitadores que els aparten del que els omple de llum i de color. Estem massa pendents d’encaixar, de fer les coses correctament i hi ha coses que no tenen una única manera de fer-se correcta, perquè són l’expressió lliure de la persona, del moment, del sentiment, i l’hem deixar sortir sense jutjar.
Hem de deixar-los volar de tant en tant sense jutjar-los si no ho fan com sempre s’ha fet, potser seran tant creatius que a partir d’aquell dia podrem fer-ho de maneres diferents.
La creativitat pot fer-se créixer donant l’oportunitat d’experimentar amb materials i recursos nous, pot fomentar-se si no els diem que aquella no és la forma correcta d’utilitzar color o una pintura. Ser creatiu és reinventar, és trobar maneres de treballar materials diferents a les acostumades.
Quan la meva filla fa un dibuix o pinta alguna cosa i em pregunta si m’agrada, jo li dic que el que ha de pensar és si li agrada a ella. Si li agrada a ella, si està satisfeta amb el resultat, a mi em semblarà bé.
Mireu el curt d’avui i busqueu aquell racó de color, de música, de deixar volar la imaginació, i recordeu com n’és d’important sortir de la ratlla alguna vegada, si no fa mal a ningú, i fer el que et fa feliç sempre que puguis.
Quan vam deixar de pensar que ho podíem fer? que ens en sortiríem? quan vam deixar de dibuixar i de pintar? quan vam decidir no cantar o ballar si ens venia de gust? què o qui va anar matant lentament la nostra creativitat infantil sense deixar-la créixer? Quan vam entrar en la roda de fer el que s’espera de nosaltres sense deixar-nos anar per ser feliços i riure una bona estona?
Deixem de penjar-los dia rere dia la motxilla carregada amb tot el que esperem que facin per ser el que ens sembla millor per ells, i un cop més us demano que els escoltem i no ens escudem en que volem el millor per ells. Si volem el millor per ells, els hem de tenir en compte, oi?
