La vergonya i la timidesa són sentiments d’aquells que, en la mesura justa, ens ajuden a no fer coses de les que més tard ens penedirem, però, en excés, ens impedeixen gaudir de les coses i sentir-nos feliços amb nosaltres mateixos. Segurament carreguem les nostres motxilles amb massa prejudicis, amb les normes socials de comportament, amb algunes experiències no massa positives, i si, a més, hi sumem que perdem l’espontaneïtat i la innocència que teníem quan érem petits, ens quedem massa temps pensant “què pensaran els altres”, atemorits pel “què passarà”, i al final no ens atrevim. Amb les conseqüències negatives que ens produeix el no atrevir-nos.

Expliqueu-los que la por i la timidesa no han de ser pas les directrius d’una vida que pretenem viure plenament i amb la que busquem ser feliços.
