El Mishiyu és un nen orfe que viu amb por, però alhora amb esperança, la seva adopció. La commovedora història del nen s’entrellaça amb l’emoció continguda de la dona que decideix adoptar-lo, fins que finalment tots dos es reconeixen com a mare i fill. Un àlbum del Ricardo Alcántara amb unes il·lustracions intenses i emotives de la Rebeca Luciani.
El llibre ens mostra la duresa de l’abandonament. “Així que va néixer els seus pares el van abandonar. Era una nit molt freda i fosca. El van embolicar amb uns draps vells i el van deixar davant la porta d’una casa”.
El Mishiyu és un nen que no va conèixer als seus pares, ja que el van abandonar quan va nèixer. Comparteix habitació amb d’altres nens, però se sent sol, molt sol, trist i amb por, ja que no té ningú que el cuidi i l’estimi.
Quan en Mishiyu fa quatre anys apareix a la seva vida una dona que decideix adoptar-lo. Una dona que també ha hagut de lluitar contra tot tipus d’opinions per aconseguir fer realitat el seu somni de ser mare en solitari.
A partir d’aquí el llibre ens omple de moments més tendres, on anirà explicant com apareixen els lligams entre el Mishiyu i la mare: “Encara que el Mishiyu no era capaç d’exterioritzar les seves emocions, no defugia la companyia de la Isabel. Si ella anava d’una habitació a una altra, ell anava darrere seu”. I és a partir d’aquí que la història d’en Mishiyu quedarà lligada a la de la Isabel, i junts viuran moments intensos i emotius.
Una història amb molt de missatge, tant per petits com per grans.
Un llibre per llegir a nens que han estat adoptats i treballar així una part de la seva història, i també per explicar a nens, a partir d’uns set anys, per treballar els diferents tipus de famílies, les emocions, l’amor i la sort de tenir qui t’estima i et cuida.
Us he de dir que, tot i que quan l’he explicat a classe ha agradat molt i ha donat molt de joc, a la meva filla li costa que li llegeixi, ja que és molt sensible i la fa plorar. Ella us el recomana com “un llibre molt trist amb un final molt feliç”.
