T’has parat mai a pensar quina és la teva relació amb els teus pares? Quina és la teva relació amb els teus fills? Quina és la teva relació amb qui estimes o qui t’estima? L’has analitzat?
La vida està plena de petits detalls que sovint passen desapercebuts. Potser no ens adonem de la bellesa que es troba en les petites coses fins que aprenem a mirar més enllà del que és evident.
El curt d’avui està inspirat en un poema del Ron Koertge i com tots els poemes o tots els curts no té una única interpretació, la riquesa d’aquesta activitat és que cadascú hi veiem coses diferents.
El títol del curtmetratge és “Negative space” i al món de l’art l’espai negatiu és l’espai dins, entre i al voltant dels objectes. Per exemple, l’espai negatiu és l’àrea entre una tassa i el seu mànec; i és l’espai entre els pètals d’una flor. També és l’espai entre un objecte i les vores del llenç, és a dir, l’espai al voltant d’un objecte.
El poema del Ron Koertge ens recorda la importància d’atendre els detalls i el que sovint passem per alt. Aquest missatge es transmet a través de la història d’un fill que aprèn a fer maletes amb el seu pare, i descobrim com els moments aparentment sense importància i les petites tasques quotidianes poden tenir un significat profund i connectar-nos amb les persones estimades.
És aquest aspecte mateix el que també em fa sentir trista, ja que de vegades donem poca importància al que realment en té de veritat. Jo hi veig una relació freda amb la família i una persona adulta que acaba sent com el seu pare, una persona freda i distant. Potser no n’hi ha prou amb un “Perfect”, potser cal molt i molt més, oi?
Massa temps aprenent a aprofitar l’espai, i finalment marxem sense res. Tot el que tens es queda, així que deixem de centrar-nos només en els aspectes més evidents i no deixem de banda els detalls que fan que una experiència sigui especial.
Gaudiu de petons, d’abraçades, del so de la pluja, de l’olor a casa, del sabor d’un àpat casolà o la conversa tranquil·la amb un ésser estimat.
Quan prenem consciència de l’espai negatiu, d’aquests petits moments i detalls, tenim l’oportunitat de viure una vida més plena i significativa.
