De vegades sento als nens i nenes petits conversant sobre quan siguin grans i es casin, i ho diuen com si aquesta fos la seva única finalitat en aquesta vida, i llavors penso què encara queda molt per fer. No m’entengueu malament, em sembla molt bé que tothom vulgui trobar algú amb qui compartir la seva vida, però pot ser que no trobin aquella persona amb la que compartir la seva vida, o que decideixin no compartir-la amb ningú, o no tenir una parella estable.
I si el fet de sentir-los a ells parlar de casar-se com el que volen fer quan siguin grans ja em preocupa, encara em preocupa més sentir com els pares i les mares donen tanta importància a tenir “novis” a la llar d’infants, a infantil… “és que són novis des de P-3”, et diuen de vegades a primer o segon de primària. El que estan fent és imitar, és el que anomenem joc simbòlic, i forma part d’una etapa evolutiva molt important i els permet treure molt del que porten dins i del que els transmetem nosaltres. Els infants juguen a imitar la vida adulta dins els seu joc. Imiten relacions, imiten comportaments, i també fan de cuiners i de perruquers o mecànics i no vol dir que quan siguin grans aquesta sigui la seva professió.
Hi ha moltes coses que pots fer a la vida si t’ho proposes, però tenir parella em sembla que no és una d’aquestes. Una parella no és una “cosa” que puguis aconseguir si treballes molt, si et prepares força, si hi dediques temps… Una parella és una persona amb la que, si els dos voleu, tindràs l’oportunitat de compartir moments, opinions, converses i sobretot respecte, molt de respecte, i pel que hauries de sentir alguna cosa especial. Que no en tens? doncs no passa res!
A la vida pots compartir moments amb molta gent, amb amics i amigues, amb coneguts, amb família… Deixem de dir-los als nostres fills, directa o indirectament, que han de compartir la seva vida amb la seva parella. No seran bons, si decideixen no lligar-se a ningú? No gaudiran, si ho han decidit ells o elles? Serà millor lligar-se a algú amb qui no estan bé, per tal de no estar sol?
És bonic tenir parella, però també ho pot ser no tenir-ne, si és el que tries. Ensenyem als nostres fills que el que ens importa per a ells és que puguin ser feliços, i viure la seva vida com ho decideixin.
