A mi la majoria de fruita em costa de menjar, de fet us diria que gairebé cap fruita m’agrada. Com a mare d’una nena que està creixent, constantment em veig dient-li com n’és d’important que mengi fruita, tot i que a ella tampoc li agrada. És important ser coherents quan eduquem. Ser coherents ens dóna credibilitat als ulls dels nostres fills.
La teoria sempre és fàcil d’aprendre i si a sobre estem convençuts que allò que volem aplicar ens donarà un producte perfecte, del que podrem presumir, ja ni us explico.
Recentment sembla que tot el procés d’ensenyament està de moda i que ho hem de canviar tot. Fins ara el que hem fet amb els nens és obligar-los a memoritzar i a establir rutines per preparar-los per un món industrial.
Ara el món està patint una nova revolució i hem de preparar-los per una nova forma de viure, una forma que desconeixem com serà.
Els pares, en el nostre afany per veure feliços als nostres fills, de vegades deixem d’enfocar-nos en ells com a prioritat i, sense ser-ne conscients, ens enfoquem en les nostres expectatives i ambicions. Volem un fill que sigui el més llest de la classe, que sigui educat davant els nostres amics i compromisos socials, que estigui ple de virtuts. No volem que la gent pensi que som uns “mals pares”.
Mireu el PerPensar d’avui i primer pregunteu-vos a vosaltres mateixos quines són les vostres expectatives sobre els vostres fills. Tot el que fem per ells, perquè els vagi bé, perquè siguin bons, perquè destaquin i siguin feliços, ho fem realment per ells, o ho fem per nosaltres? Sabem del cert què és el millor per als altres? Som coherents quan eduquem?
I ara feu un segon exercici i pregunteu als vostres fills què els agrada, què farien diferent? què els agradaria fer? Pregunteu, no tingueu por. Encara que penseu que els coneixeu prou, perquè són els vostres fills, us asseguro que sempre ens poden sorprendre.
Si us heu quedat amb ganes de més, què us sembla si amb tot el que sabeu apropeu posicions? Com? Doncs aquí us deixo unes idees:
Elaboreu plegats un menú saludable,que tingui coses que li agradin, però expliqueu-los que també tindrà alguna “cosa” que no els agrada en una petita quantitat i que ho hauran de tastar. I vosaltres també.
Prepareu el calendari d’extraescolars tot tenint en compte la seva opinió i digueu-li que ho haurà de fer tot el curs, perquè ha participat en la decisió, i que si no li agrada podrà canviar al curs següent, però no a mig curs.
Planitifiqueu junts la setmana, amb estones de joc i estones de treball, i quan sigui l’estona de treball no caigueu en la temptació d’allargar-la en detriment del joc.
