A casa meva, és engegar la televisió i dues de les tres persones que hi viuen són immediatament absorbides i passen a un estat de catarsi en la que ja els pots dir el que vulguis que com a molt et diran “si”, o “val”, sense tenir ni idea de a què. Teniu algú semblant a casa vostra?
Els mitjans de comunicació tenen un poder especial a l’hora de captivar-nos i de captar la nostra atenció. De vegades podem modificar tota la nostra rutina per veure una estrena o un programa, molts cops pensem que és la nostra estona de desconnexió, de relax, i el que fem és quedar-nos indefensos davant tot el que ens aboquen. I tot és engegar la televisió i desaparèixer les converses.
En els mitjans audiovisuals tot està estudiat al mil·límetre per captar a la màxima audiència possible i generar-nos necessitats. Necessitats de què? doncs del que convingui. Ja pot ser una sèrie, un programa o un producte.
Ja hem parlat en alguna altra ocasió sobre com els anuncis molts cops ens venen fum, o sobre com la tele ens pot fer creure que allò que porta un presentador, o que surt en una sèrie o en un anunci, ens resulta indispensable. I si a nosaltres ens poden generar “necessitats”, als petits encara més.
Cal un gran exercici d’autocontrol per desintoxicar-se del consumisme que ens generen els mitjans de comunicació, i alliberar-se del control que exerceixen sobre nosaltres i la nostra atenció.
Com ho feu vosaltres quan sentiu ganes de comprar alguna cosa? analitzeu si us fa falta? Quants cops heu caigut en la temptació i us n’heu penedit després? Us marxa l’atenció si hi ha alguna tele a prop? sou dels que mireu fins i tot pels reflexes, intentant que la resta no se n’adoni? Us ho creieu, que podeu ser a dos llocs alhora?
Avui us porto un “PerPensar” que trobo molt divertit i que us permetrà treballar amb els vostres fills com els mitjans de comunicació i, en especial, la televisió ens poden complicar la vida i les relacions amb la resta de les persones.
Mireu el curt d’avui i parleu sobre com canvia la relació quan apareix la tele i què passa a mesura que aquesta influeix en les persones que la miren. Pregunteu als vostres fills si senten que la tele els absorbeix, i si s’adonen de què passa quan està en marxa i què passa quan no.
Rieu plegats, però adoneu-vos que quan alguna cosa ens controla, cal vigilar i fer-hi alguna cosa… i aquesta és molt fàcil: podem parar la tele. Tant de bo tot tingués aquest botó per desconnectar.
I si us pica la curiositat i voleu anar més enllà, podeu apuntar-vos a seguir un dels molts reptes que apareixen en blogs i a les a les xarxes socials on blogaires i usuaris decideixen, per exemple, passar un any sense comprar res que no siguin productes de primera necessitat, o, si sou més agosarats, deixar de mirar la tele.
