A casa nostra és molt normal escoltar aquestes frases: “No sé” , “no puc”, “no sóc capaç”… i és que tant la meva filla, com jo les utilitzem massa cops. Són incomptables les vegades que durant la meva vida m’he dit aquestes frases o les he dit als altres, i el que em preocupa molt és que sembla que és el que li estic ensenyant a la meva filla. Si jo no deixo de dir-li “ves amb compte!”, “és massa aviat per tu”, “no pots encara”… el que que estic fent és inculcar-li un seguit de creences limitadores: per una banda, que no crec en ella i, per altra, que no pot fer coses que de ben segur podria si és el que ella vol.
Des del nostre naixement les persones generem mecanismes de protecció i de defensa que ens permeten relacionar-nos amb l’entorn en el que vivim. Aquests comportaments es fixen i es converteixen en creences, que poden ser potenciadores o limitadores.
Les nostres creences són molt importants, ja que ens influeixen en la motivació i en les conductes que realitzarem per potenciar les nostres capacitats, però aquestes creences també poden ser limitadores i ens poden fer creure el contrari del que és.
Una creença és tot allò que acceptem com a vertader i que, per tant, tindrà molta influència en com percebem la realitat. Si tenim una creença limitadora que ens diu que no sabem cantar bé, segurament no cantarem mai o quan ho fem no ens sentirem bé. Si pel contrari tenim una creença impulsora que ens “digui” que som molt bons cuinant, gaudirem cuinant i hi posarem molt interès en aquesta tasca. Veieu que quan em crec una cosa, tant positiva com negativa, faig el que sigui per fer que sembli certa?
Per aquest motiu és important aconseguir detectar les creences limitadores que tots tenim i canviar-les. Hem de detectar el “no puc” i canviar-lo per un “vaig a intentar-ho”, el “no sé” per un “en sabré” o el “no sóc capaç” per un “sóc capaç”. I el que és més important, ho hem de fer nosaltres i ensenyar-ho a fer. Les excuses no ens porten a superar els nostres reptes, no ens ajuden a treballar per allò que volem però que no ens creiem capaços de fer.
C.S. Lewis va dir “som allò que creiem ser” i pensa que, com va dir en Henry Ford, “tant si creus que pots com si creus que no pots, tens raó”.
El “PerPensar” d’avui ens explica la història d’una nena que malgrat la seva discapacitat, té una passió i no es rendeix, ella sent el que vol dins seu i en gaudeix. Veiem una actitud positiva davant els impediments i una força que fa que gaudeixi del que vol, encara que hi ha molt en contra. Veiem creences impulsores on molts de nosaltres les tindríem limitadores. Un curt per utilitzar com a exemple de superació personal i per ensenyar que l’esforç és una bona manera d’encarar la vida.
Quan mireu aquest vídeo pregunteu als vostres fills si hi posen esforç en allò que fan? analitzeu-vos vosaltres mateixos, sempre hi posem ganes en tot el que fem? Els limiteu amb les vostres paraules? i amb els fets? Quines creences són les que predominen en els vostres fill i en vosaltres?
I si us hi atreviu, us proposo fer una llista de frases que dieu o que diuen que siguin limitadores i convertir-les en potenciadores o impulsores!! Endavant!
